PARADISE ROCKS THE OSA PENINSULA
Paradise Rocks Golfo Dulce Boat Tours

THE EXPERIENCE
GOLFO DULCE
Is one of the most pristine tropical fjords in the world.
Paradise Rocks boat tours are on the Golfo Dulce Osa Peninsula which is surrounded by lush mountainous rainforest and mangrove wetlands. The gulf is approximately 50 km’s long and it takes nearly half an hour by boat to reach its far shore (15 km’s). It is also the only known place in the world where the migration paths of whales from both the northern and southern hemispheres cross over as they give birth to their young in a gulf that provides sanctuary for their young calves. Whale sharks also aggregate in Golfo Dulce along with the many resident dolphins and more than 25 species of whales that either migrate through the area or live in the area permanently.

ACTIVITIES
PARADISE ROCKS will show you the world within the Golfo Dulce.
SNORKELING – The Golfo Dulce is rich with volcanic reefs, crevices and caves that have become breeding grounds for a staggering variety of marine life.
WHALE WATCHING – It is also the only known place in the world where the migration paths of whales from both the northern and southern hemispheres cross over as they give birth to their young in a gulf that provides sanctuary for their young calves.
DOLPHIN DISCOVERY – The Golfo Dulce is so welcoming it hosts several pods of dolphins who call it home.
WHALE SHARKS – Also visit this beautiful tropical fjord. They show up to feed on plankton between Puerto Jimenez and La Palma each February or March. They hang around until the first heavy rains when they move on — possibly because the runoff affects plankton production.
SEA TURTLES – The Golfo Dulce is a major feeding ground for the Pacific green turtle.

Amazing amounts of biodiversity in and around the Golfo Dulce make it a magical place.
